Warranty
Three layers of warranty, and who gives each
What is covered is what your written warranty says, and nothing on this page replaces it.
The material
A tile or shingle maker may warrant its product. That warranty is the maker's, and its terms are the maker's.
The workmanship
Our own warranty on the work we do. Its length is written on your estimate, and its terms, limits and exclusions are in your written warranty.
Who registers it
If a manufacturer warranty needs registering, we do it and give you the paper. Your contract says which products have one.

What California says about your contract
The deposit has a limit
California law caps a down payment on a home improvement job at $1,000 or 10% of the price, whichever is less. We never ask for more.
Changes in writing
A change to the work is priced and signed before we do it.
Time to cancel
If you sign at home, you may have three business days to cancel. In many states you can also cancel after your insurer denies a claim.
Look up any contractor
The Contractors State License Board lists every license, with its status, at cslb.ca.gov.
